olive's baby name ideas.

Since discovering that we're having another baby we've been really open with Olive about it.  She likes to talk about it and use all of the things we have ready for it, of course.

She also likes to give me useful information like:
"It will hurt after you have the baby."
"Your babys gettin' bigger and bigger."
"Chlorophyll helps your baby get bigger."
"After your baby comes out you're going to have to sleep all day."

I ask her frequently if she has any name ideas.  Honestly.. I could use a little help, so why not ask.  It's been interesting over the last few months to see how her name ideas have changed and become somewhat more realistic.

Here is a list of her suggestions to date, in order of appearance:

1. Olive
2. Emma
3. Tyler
4. Swuss-miss
5. Neighbor Day
6. Plants Leafses
7. Daniel Neighborhood
8. Diamonds
9. Oliver

It's almost like it went full circle.

1-3 for obvious reasons.
4 because I think she was thinking about Christmas
5 because public television does a thing called Neighbor Day on Labor Day
6 because plants and leaves
7 because Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.
8 happened after I asked her about an actual name idea we have. I asked her if she liked it and she said no and immediately suggested Diamonds instead.
9 because we met a kid named Max at the park yesterday and they played for a very long time and it turns out she thought his name was Oliver.
