A couple of weeks ago I photographed a beautiful wedding at the University Club in downtown St. Paul, MN. The afternoon was fast paced and involved many locations. I began at the bride's mother's home while the bride and her bridesmaids took care of their finishing touches. We then headed through rush hour traffic and construction to the wedding venue where the ladies took a little more time to prepare themselves. I checked in with the guys upstairs in the penthouse before meeting the ladies in a lovely stairwell before beginning the ceremony. The ceremony was sweet and quick. When it was over the wedding party and myself piled into a limo and headed to Rice Park in downtown St. Paul and then over the Summit Hill for photographs before heading back to the venue to meet with family before heading upstairs the ballroom for the reception. It makes me dizzy just thinking about everything we managed to cram into four hours! The afternoon was a whirlwind, the wedding party seemed to have a really great time, and the bride's wedding dress was stunning! Below are some of my favorite shots! :)
A couple of weeks ago I photographed my first wedding not on land. I jumped at the opportunity to photograph a wedding on a boat. :) I drove out to Stillwater, MN where I met Janell and Craig along with their family and friends. We snapped some formal and group shots before boarding the Jubilee II for a couple of hours. The ceremony was simple and lovely, the food was delicious, and the party was just getting started when the boat came back to shore and I headed home.
My little Olive is now 18 months old. Here are some of my favorites from a little 15 minute "session" in the North Loop of Minneapolis after we went shopping at the Salvation Army just down the street.
I'll be posting an 18 month update with a few more photos and some videos in the coming weeks. Things are busy, as always.
