I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at my friend Amber's church. When first meeting the couple I also realized that I had previously heard (good) stories about them when Amber and I used to work together. The groom and his family have been attending the church for years and the bride works there. I love weddings when people very involved in their churches come together - you can see the love and the effects of such a well grounded pairing on the faces of all of the attendees.
Both the sanctuary and the fellowship room posed some unique challenges for photographing but I was eager to step up to the challenge. For example, the windows in the sanctuary cast an almost underwater-ish hue across everything.
After the ceremony the wedding guests filled every nook and cranny where they enjoyed a large table full of deserts made by many of the guests and enjoyed what looked to be wonderful fellowship.
Here are a few of my favorites from the day... :)
Congratulations! :)
