another family follow up. { frost on flower }

Over the weekend I followed up with this family at their home in Hopkins.  I first photographed them back in April when their mama was pregnant with this little lady.  It was great to see them again and meet their new little one.  :)



We ventured outside into their nice green grass and were graced with a perfectly overcast sky.





They held off a little while and didn't do a newborn session immediately.  This means we got to see a lot more of her lovely blue eyes than we would have a couple of months ago.



mmmmmm.



It's a tough age combination but we managed to get some shots of big brother and little sister.  :)





And of course the whole family together.  :)  I like photographing families in front of their homes.

bat mitzvah fun. { frost on flower }

A couple of weeks ago I photographed my first Bat Mitzvah. Coincidentally the Mat Mitzvah was for a girl named Emma - that made the night slightly confusing for me as I was constantly turning my head when someone called her!

The party was held at the Hopkins Center for the Arts and her parents did a wonderful job of putting everything together. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food, dancing, games, wax hands, and more.
