I drove out to Cottage Grove to meet with a couple to review their wedding contract and do their engagement session. It was wonderful to meet them and to explore their wedding venue - Hope Glen Farm. There were quite a few neat photo spots. I can almost imagine their wedding already! We had a lot of fun and here are some of my favorite photos:
Congratulations C+K! I can't wait to photograph your wedding in 2013!

tiny twins. need i say more? { frost on flower }
I absolutely could not wait to get home, upload these photos, and get to work. Last Saturday I spent two hours with these adorable twins. Those two hours were jam packed full of exploration, excitement, snacks, and even tears. When all was send and done I had close to a billion photos to look through. That's right... a billion.
While you probably wouldn't mind seeing nearly a billion photos of these cuties I'll save you a bit of time and show you my most favorite few. And by few, as always, I mean a bunch.

As the air was quite cool in the morning we began indoors inside the Guthrie Theatre. |
We went straight up to the Amber Lounge. The girls had some time to get comfortable and do some exploring. |
They were pretty interested in being held for a while, which is understandable. I was new and we were in a weird yellow room with giant windows. Pretty strange, right? |
Soon the girls got a bit more comfortable and peered out the windows into the fog. |
Same eyebrow raised. :) |
This little one was pretty into doing her own thing.. and quite quickly! |
We made our way down to the fourth floor where everything was a bit more normal colored. |
There was so much outside to look at it. I love getting reflections in these windows. :) |
There are giant comfy black chairs to climb on throughout the theatre. |
We of course blew kisses. |
And looked out the windows some more. |
And constantly asked for more snack. |
And licked the windows. |
And wondered why window licking was happening. Ew. |
After the girls had about enough to exploring inside we went out, just past the Mill City Saturday market. |
We found this nice wall but the girls weren't overly interested in looking at me. |
This little lady spoke to my heart by exploring the numerous rocks. |
This one was pretty pumped that I brought bubbles along. |
We managed to get them together for a few seconds at a time. |
Though that didn't mean they were actually going to do the same thing or look in the same direction. |
No comment. :) |
More snacks. |
I always get a few of these reaching for my camera shots. Love them. :) |
:) |
The girls were nearing the end of their available attention and tolerance for me and my camera. We headed down to the boardwalk for a few more shots before calling it a day. |

the mini session i most looked forward to. { frost on flower }
This is the last of mini sessions from earlier this month at Minnehaha Falls Park. I was looking forward to this one all day! I used to work with this mama over 1.5 years ago! It was great to meet her family and spend a little time with them. I ended up with so many fun photos!
Here are some of my favorites:
These just about capture everything - close family, confusion, goofing off, runny noses, crying little ones... :)
